MICRO-MIRACLE
Project location: Piacenza, Italy

Project Introduction
The subject of environmental sustainability is becoming more and more significant as a result of the rise in online sales and the ensuing dramatic rise in delivery trucks in metropolitan areas in recent years. Evidence indicates that the last mile of delivery is the most carbon-intensive segment of the process; a rise in online purchasing leads to higher last mile CO2 emissions and more traffic congestion.
The project's main goal is to create an urban plan for Piacenza that promotes sustainable logistics. This includes creating new city logistic delivery systems and micro logistic hubs to help with freight traffic management and service sharing. We made the decision to concentrate on starting a new conversation between the micro logistic hubs and urban community. These micro logistic hubs will connect the communities with an unknown urban space, help revitalize the identity of the area, and contribute to a more positive living environment for local residents.
